What's included?

  • Our guests rent our 200 acre venue from Thursday - Sunday. The rental includes the Estate Lodge, Barn, Wooded Ceremony Site, bathrooms and One Shuttle Bus to Norway Town Center.


  • Yes.  We have a select number rental companies that we recommend to provide a wide variety of tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, and glassware based on style and budget. This allows you to create just what you want!


  • We do not offer catering or alcohol.  Choose from our list of preferred vendors to provide everything you will need.  BYOB is allowed with the proper insurance and licensed bartenders.  We can provide guidance based on your budget and style

How many guests Can Fit in the barn?

  • Our barn can hold up to parties of 233 with a dance floor. Smaller parties have room for photo booths, lounge chairs, and cocktail tables.  We also have an outdoor cocktail area that can accomodate all of your guests.

Does the Barn have bathrooms?

  • Yes! We have bathrooms for men, women, and a unisex bathroom with a baby changing table.  This means not having to spend approximately $3,000 on renting port-o-potties.


  • Our Estate Lodge sleeps 18 guests. We also have several properties within minutes for larger bridal parties, grandparents, etc.

Where Can we get married?

  • There are a few options for your wedding ceremony:
    • Our Wooded Ceremony Site
    • The Barn
    • The Norway Center Congregational Church; a classic white New England church 2 miles from the estate. 
    • Other local churches including Catholic, Evangelical, Baptist, and Lutheran


  • Please check the accommodations section on our  accommodations page. There are local hotels including theHamptn Inn, Oxford Casino Hotel,  Bethel Inn and the Poland Spring Resort, as well as many lake houses and cabins to rent around Norway Lake that are only a few minutes from the estate. Are your guests looking for camp grounds? We have those local as well! Our guests typically rent shuttles from our transportation manager to shuttle guests to and from their hotels.

ARE WE REQUIRED TO USE YOUR VENDORS? Are There time and Noise Limits.

  • We do not require the use of our preferred vendors but do require the approval of any vendors not on our list. This is to protect you from poor service.
  • We do not have time limits but we will close the doors to the barn at 10:30 and reserve the right to ask your entertainment to turn it down if necessary. 


  • We only allow one wedding per week at Granite Ridge and do not offer a reduced rate for one-day weddings at this time.

Can we have our rehearsal dinner in the barn?

  • Yes you can, however, based on the size of your rehearsal dinner, it might make more sense to use a local restaurant to reduce the amount of cleanup needed before the big day. We will guide you on the best option. It can be catered on site or you can do it yourself. Most couples prefer a relaxed get-together right at the house. We have a large Webber Grill, an OFYR grill and a camp stand to cook lobsters.

Can our guests drive to the venue?

  • We are a shuttle only venue for the safety of our neighbors and our guests. Our transportation manager can put together a customized transportation plan that will fit your needs.  We have a central town location close to Granite Ridge that is easy to find and has sufficient parking. We do have limited on-site parking at the Estate for handicapped individuals as well as families with small children that cannot get on a shuttle. Everyone staying at the Lodge and close family members will have plenty of room to park on wedding day and the days prior.

Do you offer wedding packages?

  • Each Granite Ridge wedding is custom to your wants, budget, and style. Click here for cost on the rental of our venue and  please contact us for a preliminary estimate on the cost of your enitre day. 

Can I bring My Pet?

  • Please contact us about our pet policy. We have allowed pets in the past on a case by case basis. If approved there is an additional $250 non-refundable pet fee for the first pet with a $50 fee for each additional critter.  We limit this to the wedding couple only.

Is the Barn Climate-controlled?

  • YES!  As of 2018, there is heating and air-conditioning in the barn.
